Letter To The Editor: Kimiye Corwin
Hello there!
My name is Kimiye Corwin. I did The Actors Center Conservatory program in 2003, and it changed my life. Since then I have done and MFA program, got an agent, and now I am trying to come to terms with “what was I thinking?!” This is no doubt the toughest business one can choose to be in, but I am such a believer of not having to struggle to the point of losing my dignity, self-respect and in happiness in life. I want to thank Sanjit for his words, which hit the nail on the head for me. It is people like him and everyone associated with The Actors Center who make me so proud of what I do, aside from the challenges of “the biz” that I face. All I want to do is connect with other humans. Deeply. Sanjit, thank you for the reminder of why I do this. It is difficult to remember at times.
